As humans, we can get overwhelmed, and it can stop us in our tracks. Multiply that by a team of humans all coming at a problem with their own fears, history, and reasons why it won’t work. But the reality is that there are always small steps we can take to move forward and boost our confidence that the goal is ultimately achievable. Sometimes all it takes is an outside perspective to see what’s possible in the midst of what we perceive as impossible.

Nothing is ever impossible – it’s just daunting when you look at the whole picture all at once. Especially when your team has other responsibilities to keep up with. The sticking points cloud the way and block the path forward. They create a natural negativity and defeatist mindset. But each hurdle we clear gives us the confidence to move forward to clear another. When we have enough wins under our belts and the road is paved for us, we can get in the car and drive smoothly to our destination – business success.
